Refund & Cancellation Policy

CodeShop delivers access to private GitHub repositories instantly and automatically upon confirmed payment. Because the product is a digital good (GitHub collaborator access) delivered immediately, all sales are generally final once access has been granted, in accordance with Section 19 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 regarding digital goods.

You may abandon a checkout at any time before completing payment. No charge will be applied. Incomplete Razorpay orders expire automatically.

If payment was confirmed by Razorpay but GitHub access was not granted within 24 hours due to a platform or seller error, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact us within 7 days with your order ID and we will investigate and process the refund within 7 business days.

A refund may be granted if:

• Access was not granted due to a technical failure on our side.
• The repository is substantially different from its listed description.
• The listed repository is empty, deleted, or inaccessible at the time of purchase.
• The seller revokes your access immediately or within 48 hours of purchase without cause.
• You were charged twice for the same listing.

Refunds are not granted for:

• Change of mind after access is granted.
• The code not meeting your personal quality expectations (beyond what is described).
• Issues arising from your own GitHub account settings blocking the invite.
• Requests made more than 7 days after purchase.

1. Contact us at /contact or email support@codeshop.dev.
2. Include your order ID (from the purchases page) and your Razorpay payment ID.
3. Describe the issue clearly.
4. We will respond within 48 hours and process eligible refunds within 7 business days via the original payment method.

Initiating a chargeback with your bank without first contacting us may result in temporary account suspension while we investigate. We encourage you to raise a grievance with us first — it is faster and simpler. See our Grievance Redressal page.

If a buyer refund is approved for an order, the corresponding seller payout for that order will be reversed or withheld. If the payout was already processed, the amount will be adjusted in the seller's next payout cycle.
