Sellers keep 93% of every sale. Here is exactly how and when you get paid.
CodeShop takes a flat 7% platform fee on every completed sale. This covers Razorpay payment processing charges, GitHub API costs, server infrastructure, and platform operations. You receive the remaining 93% — no hidden deductions.
We collect all buyer payments via Razorpay. Because we are a small, early-stage platform without automated payout infrastructure, payouts are processed manually via invoice. This is straightforward and reliable — here is the step-by-step process:
You earn 93%
Every time a buyer purchases your listing, 93% of the sale price is credited to your seller balance. The remaining 7% is the platform fee covering infrastructure and Razorpay payment processing.
Raise a payout request
Once your balance meets the minimum payout threshold, go to your seller dashboard and raise a payout request. Attach a valid invoice addressed to CodeShop for the payout amount.
Submit your bank / UPI details
Provide your bank account number & IFSC, or a UPI ID, along with your invoice. All details are handled securely and only used to process your payout.
Settlement within 7 business days
We review your invoice and transfer the amount within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation once the transfer is initiated.
Your invoice must include:
You can use any invoicing tool (Zoho Invoice, Vyapar, a simple PDF, etc.). If you need a template, contact us.
You are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes (income tax, GST, etc.) on your earnings. CodeShop does not deduct TDS unless required by law. Keep your invoices for your own records. Consult a CA if you are unsure about your tax obligations.
