Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026. By using CodeShop you agree to these terms.
1. The service
CodeShop provides a marketplace connecting sellers who offer access to private GitHub repositories with buyers. We facilitate listings, payments (via Razorpay), and automated collaborator invitations. We are not the owner of listed repositories unless stated otherwise.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. Sellers are responsible for GitHub tokens they provide and for lawful rights to grant access to listed repos. Buyers must supply a valid GitHub username for access delivery.
3. Payments & access
Prices are shown in INR. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay; their terms also apply. Access is granted when our systems confirm payment and successfully invite the buyer on GitHub. We do not guarantee third-party uptime (GitHub, Razorpay, or your network).
4. Seller responsibilities
Sellers warrant they have the right to sell access, that listings are accurately described, and that repos match the listing. Prohibited content includes malware, stolen code, illegal material, or listings that violate GitHub's terms of service.
5. Refunds & disputes
Refunds are discretionary unless required by law. Contact support with order details. Chargebacks may result in account suspension. For access issues, contact us before disputing with your bank when possible.
6. Limitation of liability
CodeShop is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or issues arising from third-party services. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant listing in the prior twelve months.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on this page.
